2019-2020 Show Posters

Located in the heart of Buffalo’s Allentown neighborhood, inside the century-old Allendale Theatre, the Theatre of Youth produces professional performances for children and teens. The quality of the productions defines more than what happens on stage at the Theatre, it’s the total experience—the family time, the lasting lessons, the sparks of joy and wonder. 

After collaborating to reimagine the organization’s identity, the Theatre of Youth invited White Bike to design a cohesive set of 2019–2020 show posters that would do triple duty, playing out across the Theatre’s website and in printed direct mail materials as well. 

We pursued a conceptual illustration style that captured each show’s essence with minimal but striking color combinations and bold typography. Big ups to friend and illustrator Pete Reiling for his finishing work.
